How it works
SolarYaya doesn't touch your panels or inverter. It reads the data your system and your utility already produce, and checks whether the story they tell matches the sky.
Sign in once with your Enphase, SolarEdge, or Tesla login and approve read-only access. We only ever request production and consumption data — never control over your system. If your account only has viewer access rather than owner access (common with leased systems), we'll tell you exactly who to ask.
Most utilities, including SCE, offer a "Green Button" data export of your daily usage and export credits. We use this to see what actually reached the grid and what actually showed up on your bill — the number that determines what you pay, not just what your panels claim to produce.
Every day, we pull the real recorded conditions for your home — sunny, overcast, rain — from the National Weather Service. A cloudy Tuesday and a clear Tuesday get judged by different standards, automatically.
When a clear day produces next to nothing, or a month's export credit doesn't match what the sunshine says it should, you hear about it right away — with the actual numbers, not a vague "check your system" nudge.
We're not a replacement for your installer or your solar company, and we don't touch your hardware. We're the outside check — the thing that notices when the story your dashboard tells stops matching the actual sky over your house. If something's wrong, we tell you who owns the system and what to ask them, based on what we found while setting up the very first SolarYaya account.
